Seria FortiGate 100D se instaleaza in cateva minute si se actualizeaza automat pentru a proteja reteaua impotriva ultimilor virusi aparuti, vulnerabilitati ale retelei, worms, spam si site-uri malitioase fara a necesita interventia unui administrator. Folosind accelerarea patentata cu ajutorul FortiASIC, seria FortiGate 100D ofera performante de top, cu numar mare de porturi ce faciliteaza expansiunea retelei. Stocarea de pe echipament ofera posibilitatea de arhivare a datelor pentru politicile de complianta si/sau optimizare WAN. Functionalitatea WAN Optimization creste performantele retelei reducand cantitatea de date si comunicatii transmise intre aplicatii si servere dintr-o retea WAN, si/sau web caching.
